OurSong presents “They Changed Our Lives”

OurSong proudly presents the Southeast premiere of Sincerely Yours, Pauli Murray, a multi-movement composition that chronicles the life and work of American civil rights activist Reverend Dr. Pauli Murray. This unsung hero was a trailblazer in the fight for equality for women, people of color, and the LGBTQ+ community. With this inspirational hero at heart, the first half of the concert includes various choral pieces and styles that speak to several of Dr. Murray’s life themes:  activism, women’s rights, individualism, transgender identity, and mental health. Please join us in honoring and celebrating a champion of civil rights, and be inspired to carry on that fight today as we face a new onslaught of repeals, attacks, and dismissals.
