The Michael C. Carlos Museum at Emory University is pleased to welcome back
Brooklyn-based artist Timothy Hull for a teaching artist residency from April 4–7, 2025.

Hull, whose work explores memory, language, and abstraction, will engage with the Atlanta community through a series of dynamic public programs for college students and the general public. This residency is presented in association with the temporary exhibition Anonymous Fragments, curated by Greek and Roman
Art Curator, Ruth Allen, and is on view in the John Howett Works on Paper Gallery through June 29, 2025.

Workshop for Adults: Looking vs. Seeing

A hands-on workshop encouraging participants to slow down and engage deeply with visual observation.
Workshop for Adults: Drawing Outside the Lines
Sunday, April 6, 1 – 3 p.m.
Explore experimental drawing techniques that challenge traditional boundaries and spark creativity.
This artist residency is part of the Carlos Museum’s ongoing commitment to supporting contemporary artists and creating meaningful connections between the museum, the university, and the broader Atlanta community.
