Celebrate all things autumn at one of Atlanta’s favorite fall traditions, the Great Pumpkin-Carving Festival! Strap into those lederhosen and brush up your polka moves — it’s Oktoberfest in the Garden!

About the Event

Gather on the Great Lawn where the carvers get down to business, encircling communal tables decorated with pumpkins and botanicals. Make crafts, play games and dance to Martin and the Stein Shakers’ German brass band. Explore Scarecrows in the Garden creations before our Scarecrow Winners are announced at 6:30 p.m. Then, stroll through the carving stations, and be sure to cast your vote for our Visitor’s Choice award, to be announced at 8:15 p.m. 

The Rose Garden is a cornucopia of fun with a seasonal kids movie on the big screen, complimentary face painting by Pixie and Luna, pumpkin crafts and music by Sweet Auburn String Band.

• Dulce & Sabrosa – meats, cheese, warm pretzels, bite-sized black forest cake and German chocolate cake
• Simply Done Donuts – little donuts, big flavor
• Southern Crust Pizza Truck – fresh pizza, salads and warm s’mores

Parking: $10 per vehicle (SAGE cards not accepted).

Zoom and Bloom: Rideshare users, walkers, and bikers get a free mocktail ticket and entry to win a pair of tickets to a future Garden event.
