I’ve interned for PBS (Public Broadcasting Service) at their headquarters, co-booked and organized a three-day music festival, written for several publications like my hometown newspaper and Flagpole Magazine in Athens. Up until the Coronavirus, I worked for The Foundry, a music venue in Athens as Lead Show Coordinator and Assistant Talent Buyer. In the summer of 2020 I moved to Atlanta, Georgia and finished my undergrad degree remotely. I worked at Smith’s Olde Bar for the first few months of 2021 getting them back up and running as the Talent Buyer and Marketing Manager. I left Smith’s in the summer of 2021 and joined the Creative Loafing Atlanta team as Happenings and Listings Editor as well as a freelance music writer. Alongside my work at CL, I promote concerts with A Rippin Production in Atlanta and run my own concert promotion and management company, Trash Bunny Entertainment, producing multiple shows a week at multiple venues.
When I’m not working or promoting I can be found around town at local bars with other friends in the industry or at the dog park with my girl Reese. Let’s not forget about the fun stuff, like singing with old rockers, recording really bad self-demos and making a fool of myself interviewing noteworthy musicians.
More of my writing samples can be found on my portfolio website here.
