For 39 years, Out On Film has celebrated LGBTQ+ stories that entertain, challenge, and inspire. Join us for ten unforgettable days of groundbreaking LGBTQ+ cinema, filmmaker conversations, and community, followed by our Virtual Encore through October 11.
Out On Film is proud to be recognized as one of USA TODAY’s 10Best Film Festivals for four consecutive years, a MovieMaker Magazine “50 Film Festivals Worth the Entry Fee” selection, an Academy Award®-qualifying festival for Best Narrative Short Film, and an Iris Prize Partner Festival.
This year’s campaign, The World We’re Making, celebrates the collective vision created by filmmakers, audiences, volunteers, sponsors, and community partners. Rather than promising a finished destination, it celebrates the ongoing work of creating spaces where authentic LGBTQ+ stories can be seen, celebrated, and shared.
