The Atlanta native is the former editor of Georgia Voice and Project Q Atlanta, two of the largest LGBTQ publications in the South. Saunders has covered the Atlanta Eagle raid, the U.S. Supreme Court decision on marriage equality, the Pulse nightclub shooting, the “religious freedom” legislation fight and countless other historic events.
