Patrick Saunders is a freelance reporter and editor with extensive experience in digital and print journalism covering Georgia community affairs, social justice and politics. The Atlanta native is the former editor of Georgia Voice and Project Q Atlanta, two of the largest LGBTQ publications in the South. Saunders has covered the Atlanta Eagle raid, the U.S. Supreme Court decision on marriage equality, the Pulse nightclub shooting, the “religious freedom” legislation fight and countless other historic events.
